Nature Nurtures Mindfulness Hike. Join Forest Bathing guide, Emily Martin, for a Nature-Based Mindfulness hike where we’ll pay attention to the sights, sounds, smells, and textures of the forest. Emily will lead you through a series of mindful practices, meditation, and sensory exercises designed to enhance your connection with the forest.
“Nature Nurtures” is open to all, and we welcome individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels. We will be walking on uneven surfaces, but the destination is not as important as the journey. This is an inclusive, welcoming space to meet like-minded individuals who share a love for nature and mindfulness.
Sunday, May 5 1-4 PM. Meet at Crawford Oaks Trailhead of Columbia Hills State Park in Washington. Note, there is a $10 Discover Pass parking fee for the day, so please carpool. Suggested donation $20/person. Kids hike free (note, there are some steep cliffs). Dog friendly.
This is a 4.2 mile loop hike, but there are plenty of opportunities to shorten the loop if people (and kids) want a shorter hiking experience.
